Microsoft closing in on Windows 10 Anniversary update with latest PC, mobile preview builds

Microsoft released new test builds of Windows 10 "Redstone" -- a k a the Anniversary Update -- to Fast Ring testers late on June 14.

The two new builds, Windows 10 Build 14366 for PCs and Build 14364 for Windows 10 Mobile Insiders, contain next-to-no new features. (I know some have been expecting Microsoft to add the long-awaited mobile payment functionality to Windows 10 Anniversary before it hits RTW/RTM in July, but I'm thinking it's too late in the Redstone 1 development process for this to happen. But maybe if Microsoft's "OnePay" is just an updated version of Microsoft Wallet, it still could happen.)

At this stage in the development process, as expected, Microsoft is focused now on squashing bugs and fixing broken features so it can release Windows 10 Anniversary Update to the general public. The expected delivery date for Windows 10 Anniversary Update still remains on or around July 29, which would be the one-year anniversary of the release of the first version of Windows 10.
The latest Windows 10 Insider Preview does include a preview of a new Office Online for Microsoft Edge extension. It also includes some Windows Store performance and navigation updates. But that's about it on the new features front.
There are quite a few other browser, Cortana, Settings, Start and other fixes for both the PC Build 14366 and Mobile Build 14364 releases, as detailed in Microsoft's blog post. There also are still a number of known issues for both builds, which also are listed in Microsoft's blog post.
Microsoft is expected to release not only Windows 10 Anniversary for PCs and mobile phones this summer, but also the Windows 10 Anniversary update for Xbox One around the same time, as well. The Windows 10 Anniversary update for Xbox One is currently in preview with select testers.
